OAK BLUFFS — Conservation Commission approves two septic and residential projects affecting wetlands. The board unanimously approved a septic system upgrade at 13 County Road for Michelle Strong with enhanced nitrogen removal through a Micro Fast denitrogenating system, and a redesigned residential redevelopment at 27 County Road for the Gloria A. Hickey Trust.

Applicant Christopher Alley presented the redesign removing the house footprint from the wetland with less than a 10 percent footprint increase. The commission imposed conditions requiring a professional restoration plan once the old house is removed, with site visits after home removal and helical pier installation.
