OAK BLUFFS — Economic Development Council conducts field tour, approves banner sizing. The Oak Bluffs Economic Development Council held a field meeting September 8 with Vice Chair Susie Wallo calling the meeting to order and Chair Mark Leonard attending. Touring downtown and harbor areas, the Council agreed by consensus that 12-by-24-inch banners work for Circuit Avenue but directed staff to price larger welcome banners for the harbor area due to taller light posts.
Member Larkin Stallings reported the EDC RFP was released with a September 25 deadline for proposals. The Council noted two October cruise ship visits and agreed to meet again September 29 at Town Hall.
