OAK BLUFFS — Lagoon Ridge modular housing project seeks committee support for revised timeline. Project Manager Ryan Roy and developer Eric Peters told the Affordable Housing Committee that a supplier's default left modular units damaged by water and mold, forcing a lawsuit and a request to alter construction sequence. The revised plan calls for selling six of eight market-rate units first to fund the planned affordable housing, with an estimated 12 to 18 month construction window if work begins in spring.
Chair Katherine Donahue also reported the Martha's Vineyard Commission's Mass Housing Grant for identifying buildable parcels and a state Housing Choice Initiative designation application deadline of end of February.
