OAK BLUFFS — Personnel Board approves Building Commissioner and HR classifications. Chair Kevin Brennan led the Personnel Board in voting unanimously 4-0 to classify the Building Commissioner-Zoning Official as Grade 7. This marks the first-ever classification of the role under town personnel bylaws, more than 15 years after the town lost a certified Building Official.
The Board also voted 4-0 to approve the Human Resources Director Job Description at Grade 6, applying new standardized job-description formatting across town positions. Assistant Town Administrator Wendy Brough reported no personnel grievances requiring Board review in the past three to four years.
