Oak Bluffs Planning Board approves dual development agenda: boatyard with landscaping conditions and Lagoon Ridge permit phasing. The Board voted 4-0 to approve Rico's Boatyard special permit and site plan review at 68 Holmes Hole Road, along with two tenant operations (MV Stonework and MV Landscaping Solutions), subject to landscape buffering plans and boat storage documentation. Chair Mark Crossland, Vice Chair Chris Chambers, and members Bill Davies and Edwina Hawes supported all approvals.
In separate 4-0 and 5-0 votes on Lagoon Ridge modifications, the Board tied residential permit releases to affordable housing construction milestones: two lots released upon foundation completion, two more at weather-tight framing stage, and final four lots only after affordable-unit certificates of occupancy.
