Oak Bluffs School Committee approves $12.1 million fiscal 2027 budget. The committee voted unanimously to approve the FY27 operating budget of $12,177,541, an increase of $12,660 from a December version with funds going to the Central Office. Superintendent Dr.
Richie Smith reported that the high school principal search has narrowed to four finalists from thirteen applicants, with in-person interviews upcoming. The superintendent search is advancing with three Zoom interview sessions completed and in-person interviews scheduled for March 12. Principal Jeremy Light reported two bids received for the boiler replacement project, expected to be completed by September 8, 2026.
