Oak Bluffs School Committee unanimously approves 3.5 percent salary increase for school administrators. Superintendent Dr. Richie Smith proposed the raise for fiscal 2027, affecting Principal Jeremy Light, Assistant Principal Carlin Hart, and Technology Director Genc Brinja.
Smith said the increase keeps administrative positions competitive with FY26 union salary increases, which rose 5 percent. The committee also unanimously approved the second reading of the school meal charge policy.
