Oak Bluffs Deed Records Show Seven Transfers, Prices Range to $500,000
Oak Bluffs recorded seven property transfers between Aug. 28 and Sept. 26, with sale prices posted so far for three: $227,000 to $500,000, a median of $435,000. The period's top recorded sale was 21 Paddock Road at $500,000, bought by Martha's Vineyard Bank from trustees William A. and Terri P. Borden; the bank was also the buyer at 22 Firehouse Lane for $435,000. Four of the seven transfers, including three same-family trust or homestead transfers, have no price yet on record, which typically reflects the registry's normal reporting lag rather than any party withholding the figure.
